Basic 8/9 Series Basic Service Training

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides students with basic inserter knowledge and skills needed for maintaining and troubleshooting inserter systems. Emphasis will be on the 8/9 Series Chassis mechanical system. Students will be instructed in basic operating parameters via the ISC platforms.

• Input modules: High Capacity Sheet Feeder (HiCap), FIM, Accumulator,
  Folder, Transport/ Buffer, and Burster
• Output section of the inserter
• Basic system troubleshooting and paper handling techniques
• Setup and operation of the chassis and current inputs
• Introduction to basic OMR scanning

PREREQUISITES

• Students should have spent at least one month working with a Pitney
  Bowes Inserter system prior to training.
